Due to severe weather forecast for the Orlando area on Sunday, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado watch until 2 p.m.

According to the NWS, the surveillance applies to Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Polk, Marion, Brevard and Volusia counties.

The NWS noted that while Sunday’s storm could bring tornadoes, it could also bring hail and wind gusts of up to 70 mph, so a severe weather advisory will be in effect from 7 a.m. Morning. until 7 p.m.
