Authorities are investigating a shooting in the La Puente area involving Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Officers say the incident was reported around 2:22 p.m. when a suspect fired at officers in the Wing Lane area between Valinda and Azusa Avenues.
The suspect barricaded himself at a property in the 16900 block of Wing Lane.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, there are two victims, an adult woman and a minor, both with minor injuries.
The reason for the shooting is unknown.
Valinda is an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County near La Puente.
