The North Las Vegas Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
According to the police statement, officers responded to an emergency call around 6:15 p.m. this afternoon near MLK and Carey streets.
Upon arrival, officers found a man in his 30s with various gunshot wounds and he was taken to a nearby hospital.
This is an ongoing investigation and at this time the condition of the victim and the whereabouts of the assailant are unknown.
