NEW YORK – The community and activists will come together Tuesday afternoon to demand justice and further action after a 15-year-old boy was brutally beaten in a Manhattan subway station.
So far no arrests.
The attack happened on Friday, around 5:30 p.m., when the minor was thrown onto the station platform. 181 Street there Fort Washington Avenue and knock several times. In a shared video, racist words are shouted at him. The incident is being investigated as a hate crime.
The suspects punched the victim in the head and face several times, causing a laceration to the victim’s lip and shattering his glasses. Authorities shared a photo of the alleged attackers and asked people to contact police with information at 1-888-57-PISTA.
