For fans of a franchise as old and beloved as the Battlefield series, 2021 was a huge disappointment, as Battlefield 2042 was showered with negative reviews as one of the series’ most disappointing releases.

Since its release, DICE has had to go to great lengths to save both the game and the studio’s reputation, and it’s fair to say that the game has come a long way since its debut. Various major updates fixed a lot of issues, along with adding new content, they helped the game go from a mostly negative to “mixed” rating on Steam, indicating that the game is headed in the right direction. .

Battlefield 2042 Season 4: “Eleventh Hour” kicks off today, bringing a host of new features to inspire players to level up. The first is a new map, Flashpoint, focused on close-to-mid-range combat in various facilities separated by steep hills and narrow roads.

The season also features the game’s latest specialist, Camilla Blasco. Blasco focuses on stealth and reconnaissance, and is equipped with an X6 infiltration device that creates a dead zone to detect and lock down the enemy, while locating enemies in close proximity. Her Expert Ambusher trait also protects her from movement-based gadgets such as Claymores, Proximity Sensors, and Machine Guns.
