Nintendo has revealed details about new additions to Xenoblade Chronicles 3 as part of its Expansion Pass. Available February 15, Volume 3 of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass brings a new character, along with new character costumes and a Challenge Battle mode.
The new character to join the group is Masha, the self-proclaimed lapidarist extraordinaire. Masha can use special minerals to craft accessories that can benefit your party in various ways.
Upcoming Challenge Battles in-game as part of the Expansion Pass include roguelike elements. Players choose a character and face waves of increasingly powerful enemies.
Each victory grants the player new heroes and special abilities. Players can also get special outfits as rewards for completing Challenge Battles.
Nintendo also gave us a preview of what to expect for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass Volume 4, which appears to be much more story-driven.
