During their Direct, Nintendo announced that Disney Illusion Island would be coming to Nintendo Switch. The game was announced with a trailer showing off the game’s art style, writing style, and gameplay.
Players will join Mickey and his friends as they explore Monoth Island in search of three magical books. The game will put players in the shoes of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy.
Disney Illusion Island gameplay revolves around side-scrolling platforming levels where players will try to explore to unlock new abilities and uncover hidden secrets. The game also includes a cooperative mode for up to 4 players.
Disney Illusion Island’s co-op features are quite extensive, allowing players to hug each other for more health, drop a rope that can be climbed to avoid obstacles, and even jump over allies for longer jumps .
Disney Illusion Island is coming to Nintendo Switch on July 28. The game was originally announced last year.
