Battlefield developer DICE has unveiled the Battlefield 2042 Season 4 gameplay trailer, bringing a new map, specialist, gadgets and more to Xbox Game Pass later this month.
‘Season 4: Eleventh Hour’ is coming for EA Play and Xbox Game Pass members on February 28the main act being a huge new map set in the battlegrounds of South Africa.
A new stuntman also arrives with Season 4, even as the team slowly moves away from a stuntman-led multiplayer sequel. The developer reintroduced classic Battlefield classes in the game’s third season to appease longtime fans of the series.
As of now, this is the confirmed penultimate season of Battlefield 2042, as the team has already revealed that Season 5 will bring a sort of reimagined map of Battlefield 4. It’s currently unknown if post-launch support for the game goes beyond that, as DICE has reportedly already begun developing the next game in the series.
