Microsoft today announced that the Xbox Game Pass “Friends and Family” plan has been expanded to six more countries, these countries Chile, Hungary, Israel, New Zealand, South Africathere Sweden.

If you live in one of these regions (or Colombia and Ireland, which already have access to the plan), you can now sign up to share an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate account with up to five friends and family.

“This plan makes it even easier to play the best Game Pass games with your friends and family on console, PC, and the cloud. You can play on multiple devices at the same time and even play the same game at the same time. Each member can enjoy the library of hundreds of games on console, PC or in the cloud (in supported countries).

There are a few things to keep in mind, like everyone must reside in the same country and invited members will lose access to their current Xbox Game Pass subscription; only the owner of the group will receive the benefits of the conversion.

“Your time will migrate with you to the new plan at a fixed rate; for example, a month of Game Pass Ultimate will be worth 18 days of Friends & Family. Once the converted time has elapsed, it renews at the listed price.

However, people you invite to share your subscription cannot convert their existing time. Before joining a group, a group member will need to cancel their existing subscriptions or wait for their existing subscriptions to expire.”

For those wondering about regions like the US and UK, there is no information on when to expect a release at this time. When it finally arrives, it looks like it could be priced around £19.99-£24.99/$24.99-$29.99.
