As it prepares for the release of WoW Dragonflight patch 10.0.7, Blizzard outlines some of the key features coming in the upcoming World of Warcraft content update. Upcoming patch for one of PC’s most popular MMORPGs brings players back to Forbidden Reach, grants new human and orc armor sets, has you learn the language of a new faction, allows more races to take the monk’s path and chase after a Tauren Chieftain goes missing, and Blizzard says he’ll be here soon.
With Raszageth defeated, it’s time to return to Forbidden Reach in search of more answers to the origins of the Dracthyr Evokers. You’ll begin your adventure in the village of Morqut, with four different faction envoys to aid you each day, and potential rewards including a Buckie battle pet, Dragonriding customizations, and a Noble Bruffalon mount up for grabs.
Zskera Vault is a random treasure room filled with “puzzles, monsters, and mysteries”, and is unique to your character with each weekly reset. Along with plenty of gear and goodies, you can also learn about the history of Drachthyr. To explore the vault, you’ll need the Zskera Vault Keys – you’ll get six at the start, but you’ll need to find more scattered around the Forbidden Reach, and you can use them on other alternatives if necessary.
You will also find an “Unusual Ring” in the Zskera Vaults, which can be used in Morqut Village to unlock an Onyx Annulet. This can be set with up to three Primordial Stones which give you unique bonus effects. You can break unwanted stones and use them to upgrade others, or buy new stones from the Imareth seeker in town.
You’ll also find Mega-Storm events during your time in Forbidden Reach, which will grant you enhanced storm gear for completing them. You’ll also accumulate a resource called Elemental Overflow as you explore, which can be exchanged for additional gear. While you’re there, you’ll also be able to take part in new Dragonriding races and pet battles.
WoW Dragonflight 10.0.7 also includes the introduction of two new armor sets inherited from orcs and humans, and will allow goblins, lightforge draenei, and worgen to become monks. You’ll also encounter the Winterpelt Furbolg faction, who speak a language no one else can understand, meaning you’ll have to spend some time learning their dialect and vocabulary, which you can find in your spellbook.
There’s also a search for missing persons: High Tauren leader Baine Bloodhoof is looking for an old friend who recently traveled to the Plains of Ohn’ahran. You’ll have to help him track down the MIA Tauren “with the help of an unlikely ally.” Finally, there are new Recruit a Friend rewards that encourage you to bring new and old friends to Azeroth.
