As part of BlizzCon 2021 last weekend, Blizzard Entertainment officially announced the MMO expansion World of Warcraft Classic: The Burning Crusade after all the speculation in advance.

Although there is no specific release or start date so far, at least you already have the opportunity to register for the beta test.

For this purpose, Blizzard has set up a section on the official website. First you have to make sure that you log in with your current Blizzard or Battle.net account before you can take the next steps.

Then visit the World of Warcraft Classic website. Once there, scroll down to the bottom where you will find the heading “Become a beta tester”.

Click on the “Register” button and wait a few seconds until you receive the confirmation. That was it already.

However, you have to note that a successful registration for the beta test does not guarantee participation. All you get is a list of interested players, from which Blizzard will select participants over the next few weeks or months.

How many that will ultimately be, however, is just as little known as the specific start date for the beta. However, since Blizzard Entertainment definitely wants to bring World of Warcraft Classic: The Burning Crusade onto the market in 2021, we expect it to start in spring or in autumn at the latest.

As soon as there are concrete details in this regard, you will of course find them immediately in our Gaming news section.
