Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have updated the official Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty FAQ and included lots of practical information. Among other things, we know that it has a maximum resolution of 4K and a frame rate of 60 frames per second.

However, you probably won’t get both, and you’ll have the choice between a resolution mode (which prioritizes high resolution) and a performance mode (which prioritizes high frame rate). You can also upgrade from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 at no additional cost.

If you play Xbox, even better as it supports Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere. This means you’ll automatically get the best version at no additional cost, and you’ll be able to move freely between Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC with the digital version of the game (physical only between the two Xbox formats).

As for cross-save, it’s only available within the same hardware family, and save files can be moved manually between PlayStations, while it’s done automatically for Xbox. The FAQ explains:

“For the PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 version, data can be transferred by selecting Title Menu > SYSTEM > Manage Cross-save. For Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Microsoft Store versions, data is automatically synced to the cloud. Backup n is not supported between different hardware manufacturers.”

Finally, it is also explained that the Steam Deck will unfortunately not be supported (at least not at launch).

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be released on 3rd of March for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Additionally, it will be included in Game Pass as a Day 1 launch. Additionally, a new free demo is scheduled for February 24.
