With its release fast approaching, Team Ninja’s next game may disappoint part of the community.

Scheduled for the end of the month on PC and home consoles, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty will unfortunately be discontinuing one of the popular machines of the moment.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty announces several bad news for its launch

Indeed, in order to reveal the last details to know about your baby, the developers recently posted a comprehensive FAQ section on their website. It is logically about several more or less important information, many of which will likely displease many gamers.

According to Team Ninja, the game will not be compatible with Steam Deck at launch, and there’s no indication that an update will fix it in the coming weeks. Additionally, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) will not be supported on any platform, although 120Hz is available for PC. Regarding DLSS and XeSS, these technologies will also not be present at launch, although they will be integrated via a future update.

As for next-gen consoles, the title will feature a 60 FPS performance mode, as well as a native 4K resolution mode. Unfortunately, the PS4 and Xbox One versions will have to settle for 30 FPS.

Finally, the study specifies that it will be possible to economize the transfer, but only within the same family of consoles. You will therefore be able to transfer a save from a PS4 to a PS5, but not from a PS4 to an Xbox Series X|S.

As a reminder, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty will be available February 24 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. I also know that he will integrate Microsoft’s Game Pass upon release.
