the witcher 3 The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions came with unusually excessive and realistic nudity, which CD Projekt RED called “unintentional”. Apparently the unwanted NSFW content came from the developer using community mods in the next-gen edition.

CD Projekt RED is working on The Witcher 3 PS5 patch to tone things down

Full frontal nudity is nothing new in The Witcher 3. However, this is the first time female NPCs have been seen with visible pubic hair and labia. CD Projekt RED has provided a statement to Kotaku, stating that it will tone things down a bit. The study statement reads as follows:

The next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt features several community mods not created by CD PROJEKT RED, in addition to many enhancements created and implemented internally by the studio. Merging everything together was a complex process and the textures in question are an unwanted result present in the build of the build. This is something we are working to resolve.

I imagine there will be some backlash from the community about this statement, but don’t worry, CD Projekt RED doesn’t remove vaginas entirely. Visible labia and pubic hair are removed.

The studio did not specify when the patch will be released.
