Wild Hearts, a game billed as a rival to the Monster Hunter series, will make its PC debut today. Console players will have to wait until tomorrow to receive their patches.

In a few hours the market will see the release of Wild Hearts, an action RPG inspired by the Monster Hunter series, developed by the Japanese studio Omega Force, known for, among other games, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Hyrule Warriors Legends and the Dynasty Warriors series.

  2. In turn, the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5 console versions will release tomorrow.
  3. The Standard Edition for PC can be purchased on Steam, the EA app, and the Epic Games Store for $69.99. Console versions available on PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store also for $69.99
  4. EA Play subscribers can expect a 10% discount. The game is also included in the EA Play Pro subscription.
  5. In addition to the standard edition, the so-called Karakuri edition is also available, which for $89.99 offers virtual bonuses like additional emotes, 5 cat stickers, 2 full sets of armor, and a decorative tsukumo lantern.

The game generates a lot of enthusiasm. Omega Force has many successful games under its belt, so we’re curious to see how the developers will handle the Monster Hunter-like gaming realm. No reviews have been published online so far (the embargo on its publication is lifted today at 4 p.m.), but first impressions of the playable versions of the game have been positive.

It’s worth mentioning that the authors recently announced that all Wild Hearts DLC will be free. The developers also did not plan microtransactions.
