There are many hidden rooms and secret passages that you can find throughout Hogwarts Legacy Castle. Hogwarts castle is full of all sorts of weird rooms and weird secrets to uncover. Perhaps none of the rooms in the castle are more secret than Undercroft. This area is said to be a secret even to teachers, so you should never tell anyone about it. This guide will show you where to find Undercroft in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Access Undercroft in Hogwarts Legacy
As you explore Hogwarts Castle, you will discover various hidden rooms, such as Herodian’s Room, which is hidden behind a secret button, or the Werewolf Tapestry Room. The Undercroft, secret as it is, is very easy to locate, but you won’t be able to enter it until Sebastian gives you permission. During the campaign you will receive a quest from Sebastian where you will meet him at the Undercroft entrance before he shows you how to get there. During this quest, you will also learn the Confringo spell.

After discovering Undercroft, you will be asked to keep it a secret, but you can also access it again at any time. If you don’t know where you are, start by going to the fireplace in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom in the astronomy wing of the castle. This will place you at the top of the stairs directly outside the classroom.

From where you spawn, go down the stairs and turn around. Go down the small path next to the ladder that leads below where you spawned. Under the stairs, you’ll find the strange moon-style clock from Sebastian’s quest. Interact with him to enter Undercroft at any time. You’ll also return to Undercroft after several quests from Sebastian as you explore the mystery of how to cure Anne of her curse.
