There are many beasts you can hunt down and save in Hogwarts Legacy. You can find everything from Kneazles to Unicorns and even Nifflers. These fantastic beasts must be saved from poachers and they will also help you with your school work. Nifflers are precarious little creatures with an obsession with money and trinkets. Having one nearby will surely help you get more galleons. This guide will show you where you can find Nifflers in Hogwarts Legacy.
Niffler locations in Hogwarts Legacy
There are a few places where you can find Nifflers in the highlands surrounding the great castle of Hogwarts. Starting from the north, you can find a Niffler Den in the Forbidden Forest. As soon as you learn how to catch beasts, you can head there and find a Niffler Den northwest of the Floo Flame fast travel point in the East North Hogwarts region.

If you find yourself south of Hogwarts, there is another Niffler Den near the town of Feldcroft. It is the city in the western part of the map. You will go to this area later in the game when you complete a mission with Sebastian. The lair is on the cliff.

There is one final Niffler Den in the southeast part of the map in the section of the map known as Manor Cape. This area can take you a while and requires you to go through the coast camp of Poidsear, which can be quite difficult if you are not prepared.

How to Catch Nifflers in Hogwarts Legacy

Nifflers aren’t the hardest mobs to catch, but they can be quite annoying if you rush around. Begin by sneaking into the lair using the Disillusionment spell. Once nearby, hit a Niffler with the Momentum Arrest spell. This will slow him down and make the creature much easier to catch. Don’t forget to search around a Niffler Den after capturing one, as there are often plenty of Galleons lying around.
