The Traveler is the main power source of The Light in Destiny 2 and strengthens the Guardians in the game. Gives the possibility to use various powers and that’s why your character can resurrect again and again against the power of a ghost . It’s mostly been within the confines of The Last City throughout Destiny 2, but some players have reported it missing from its usual location. Here’s what you need to know about the Traveler location in Destiny 2.

What happened to the Traveler in Destiny 2

After the conclusion of the Final Dawn mission, The Traveler began to move away from The Last City and began to hover above it in the atmosphere. This was in response to Eramis launching the countdown attack on the Warsats which he took control of before Rasputin destroyed them after they sacrificed themselves to save the Traveler. After the Warsats were destroyed, The Traveler continued to float there and stay away from The Last City.

The reason the Traveler originally moved was that the Warsats were threatening and likely to destroy it. Eramis had done this to prevent The Light from leaving another civilization, on behalf of The Witness, who is on his way to continue his path against The Light and the Guardians, along with Emperor Calus.

Although it cannot be seen, The Traveler is still near the same location, but it is now high in the atmosphere and not in its usual place. We imagine it will still be The Last City, and everyone should check it out when the Lightfall expansion arrives on February 28. If you complete Final Dawn before this point, the traveler will have already moved.
