Splatoon fans are certainly in for a treat this year. Not only has the beloved city of Inkopolis been added to the game via the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass, but a huge content update is also coming to the game. Big Run will once again perform and a new King Salmonid will be revealed at some point during its turn. Of course, the content players are talking about is all that’s coming in the Fresh Season 2023 update. With so much anticipation surrounding this update, many eager fans are wondering when Splatoon 3 Fresh Season 2023 starts?
Splatoon 3 New 2023 Season Start Time
While Splatoon’s Twitter account stated that Fresh Season 2023 has a start date of March 1, that’s when it will begin in Europe. Europe is ahead of schedule, so players in North America can expect the update to arrive a few hours before the promised date. We’ve seen this with previous game updates, so we can expect the same to happen here. The 2023 cool season is expected to fall at 4 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. CT / 7 p.m. ET while it will start at midnight for those in the UK.
What to expect in Fresh Season 2023
Fresh Season 2023 is a huge update for the game so you can expect a lot of content to keep you updated until the next update. Fresh Season will have a new catalog, two new stages, including the return of Manta Maria from Splatoon 2, and a host of new weapon variants to try out. Not to mention that two new specials will be added to the game: the Kraken Royale and the Super Chump.
