Exoprimal may not be Capcom’s sequel to the Dino Crisis franchise that many fans are hoping for, but it will still satisfy gamers’ desire to kill dinosaurs. Exoprimal is a new IP from Capcom about a group of soldiers in high-tech super-soldier armor who battle an army of dinosaurs falling from the sky. Yes, that’s the premise of the game, and it’s as ridiculous as it sounds. Capcom is shaping Exoprimal as its next big third-person shooter franchise, hoping it can capture the same playerbase as other shooters. The game will be released soon, so players need to prepare their best armor to fight against the dinosaur army.

What is the release date of Exoprimal?

A trailer for Exoprimal was revealed during Sony’s State of Play in March 2022, and no specific release date was given other than it will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 sometime in 2023. Capcom would not release the Exoprimal trailer. game until a year later, in March 2023. Exoprimal will be released on July 14th, and in addition to PlayStation, the game will also be released on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. The open beta version of the game will be available for players on March 17 and will last until March 19. Players can use full cross-platform matchmaking between Xbox and PlayStation.
The trailer revealed that Exoprimal is set in the year 2043, a time when dinosaur rain is common. It’s up to a squad of soldiers in exoskeleton gear to battle the dinosaurs. The type of dinosaurs shown in the trailer include a few small theropod-like dinosaurs similar to the velociraptors of jurassic park, triceratops and of course a T-Rex. Another trailer revealed that the raining dinosaurs were part of the plan of the evil AI known as Leviathan.
Although the game has little in common with the horror-focused Dino Crisis series in terms of style and aesthetics, one of the characters in the Exoprimal trailer looks very similar to the main character in Dino Crisis. Exoprimal will feature multiple game modes, including story missions and player versus player (PvP), and will also incorporate co-op.
