While Holocure borrows most of its core gameplay mechanics from Vampire Survivors, it uses a different character unlock system involving gacha and G Rank. The gacha part is how you get a new character, similar to Genshin Impact. Additionally, just like you can earn Constellations for having the same character in Genshin, Holocure gives you a G Rank Up for a doubled gacha pull. For each G Rank, the VTuber will receive a 1% increase in HP, ATK, and SPD. However, many might wonder how far you can increase a character’s stats with this leveling mechanic.

Achieve maximum G rank stat bonus in Holocure

According to the in-game description on Gacha Shop of Holocure, there is no mention of the maximum G rank for a character, but bonuses to HP, ATK and SPD are capped at 20%. We can confirm this limitation with our tests for Gura, which was at G rank 103 in a modified save file. After doubling his gacha mining to G Rank 104, we rechecked his stats and found that they remained unchanged. In other words, you can retire a VTuber beyond G Rank 100+, but its stats will remain fixed at +20% HP, ATK, and SPD. Just as the official description does not mention Crit, it does not increase when extracting a duplicate.
In the explanation above, we mentioned that you can continue to increase a character’s G rank in Holocure even after it has already reached its maximum +20% bonus. For example, the Hololive EN Myth banner has five members: Mori, Kiara, Ina, Gura, and Ame. With the modified save file we’re using, we roll over 500 times, which should go beyond the 20% stat bonuses for all five characters. However, Holocure still allows us to tap into Myth, even if there are no more outfits or stat bonuses left to receive. So be careful not to waste money mining VTubers if you manage to max out a banner.
