What is the focus stat in Elden Ring?
While Elden Ring’s main stats are HP, FP, and Stamina, there are others you need to invest in. This is because the enemies you encounter will inflict different types of damage and you need to be prepared for all of them. As for Focus, it increases your resistance against the effects of Sleep and Insanity. In other words, it acts as a defensive stat.

Now, it’s important to remember that there aren’t many enemies that inflict sleep or madness through their attacks. However, you will still encounter them at some point, especially after making significant progress in the game. When enemies inflict Sleep on your character, they will fall asleep for 60 seconds or until the enemy hits them. As for Madness, it causes your character to lose FP and take damage while the effect is there.

How to increase concentration in Elden Ring?
To increase focus, you need to invest in the mental stat. As you increase it, your character’s resistance to the effects of sleep and madness increases. Make sure you don’t overdo it, as you need to invest in other stats as well. And for those wondering, the minimum cap for the Mind stat is 55.
