Teamfight Tactics is gearing up for a new mid-series update, called Teamfight Tactics Monster Attack!: Glitch in the Matrix. Although the players joined forces to defend Espatulopolis Monstrous threats from both sides were not enough and now the once dazzling streets have fallen into chaos and ruin.

Monster Attack: Glitch in the Matrix brings new and updated Champions, a new Mystery Carousel, and new Little Legends and evil cosmetics. For the first time, the new Parallel trait allows players to field two different versions of the same champion: the past version and the future version of Ezreal.

In terms of traits and champions, there have also been some changes.

Kai’Sa, Miss Fortune, and Ezreal gain the Rapid Shot trait, and Ezreal also gains the Parallel trait.
Other additions are: Gnar (3 cost, GenTech, Trickster), Morgana (3 cost, Threat), Aatrox (4 cost, Threat), Garen (4 cost, Mecha: PRIME, Defender), Neeko (4 cost, Guardian of Stars, Spellcaster) and Warwick (5 cost, ADMIN, Laser Patrol, Brawler).
Aphelios, Cho’Gath, Galio, Sejuani, Senna, Sett, Soraka, Taliyah, Talon, Vel’Koz, Yuumi, Zac (sort of), Zed, and Zoe will leave the stage, while the other current champions will remain.
Additionally, the carousel was also affected by the fall of Spatulopolis, and can sometimes break down with surprising consequences. From the second to the sixth phase, there is a chance of glitchy carousels appearing.
This means there will be more components and items, consumables, and in some cases even anvils that completely replace champions. Missing carousels become more and more important as the game progresses.
The user experience in TFT is also improved, as carousel items will now automatically go to your component board instead of being bound to the selected champion. This feature is here to stay, even after this new release.
Finally, there’s also a ton of cosmetics to come, along with new evil Little Legends like Spirit Super Squad, Koalo, Whiskers, and more. Zed Chibi and PROJECT: Zed Chibi will also be available.
Teamfight Tactics Monster Attack!: Glitch in the Matrix will be available on PBE from March 8 and on servers from March 22.
