Last Epoch is a hack’n’slash action RPG, in which you find yourself in a fantasy world. During the adventure, you will use skills several times. However, you don’t have to do this manually. After all, players have found a way to autocast. Here you will learn what the Num Lock trick is based on.
Please note that this is not an official method. The developers are aware of its existence, but so far there have been no active efforts to ban it or punish its use. However, it is not certain that this attitude will not change. After all, Last Epoch was given a multiplayer mode, so the Num Lock cheat could be considered cheating. So far, the developer has not officially explained how the cheat will be received after the latest update.
During the battles of Last Epoch, you will use various abilities, which you will have to activate manually. To do this, you must press the appropriate key (by default Q, W, E, R).
However, there is a way around this and activate something that works like an automatic transmission. However, this is not a solution created by the developers, but a hack discovered by the players. It is based on the use of the numeric keypad. So if you don’t have one, using this method will be impossible.
To use the num lock cheat, you need to access the hotkey settings. Then find the skill rows in the table. With the selected as the second key, point to any digit on the numeric keypad. Then save your selection and return to the game.
From now on, your character will regularly and autonomously use the selected skill. This will continue to work until you close the game or minimize it.
