Ubisoft has announced its partnership with BLAST to support and grow the competitive Rainbow Six: Siege scene going forward. The tournament circuit, which will be known as BLAST R6, will launch during the week of March 6 and will be divided into nine unique regions, including Europe, North America and Latin America, and will feature two Majors leading up to the annual Six Invitational. .

As noted in a press release, we’re told Stage 1 will run until May, when the first Major of the year takes place in Copenhagen. The tour will resume shortly after and run until the end of Stage 2 in November with a US-based Major. Play on the circuit will then resume soon, ahead of the Six Invitational in February 2024, which will take place in Brazil.

The Majors will be split into three phases, where a total of 24 teams will compete in each event for a share of a $750,000 prize pool. Teams will be ranked based on their performance in the Majors, and these points are awarded when a team qualifies for the Six Invitational.
