Ubisoft Forward Live announced for June 12, Ubisoft skips E3 2023

Ubisoft has announced that it will be hosting a Ubisoft Forward Live event on June 12, 2023. The company will be providing fans with updates on the projects it has in the works, and chances are we’ll hear about it. Mario + Rabbids DLC Sparks of Hope here. We know the event will take place in Los Angeles, but no further information is available at this time.
Ubisoft previously announced it would appear at E3 2023. However, it has since decided against it, with a spokesperson saying the company “made a subsequent decision to go in a different direction.”
The full statement reads as follows:
“E3 has fostered some unforgettable moments in the industry over the years. While we originally planned to have an official presence at E3, we then made the decision to change direction and will host a Ubisoft event Forward Live on June 12 in Los Angeles. We look forward to sharing more details with our players very soon.”
E3 2023 will finally return in person in June after taking a few years off due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, some of the big players in the industry will be absent, including Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox. Now you can also add Ubisoft to the stack.
