If you don’t know One Piece, it’s always a good time to start watching or reading its anime and manga, because there’s a reason it’s been around for so many years and it’s a work so loved by his fans. As proof, we have the countless fan art and cosplays inspired by their most popular characters, such as the genderbend cosplay of Trafalgar Law who presented the Mexican Nanatyx in October last year.
The One Piece anime and manga went through many story arcs, and at some point we reached what could be considered the end of the first half of the story, with the war raging before the two-year time-skip. That’s when we met Trafalgar Law, who we can now imagine as a woman thanks to Naty’s cosplay.
Trafalgar Law is the captain of the Heart Pirates and we meet him for the first time in the Sabaody Archipelago, in addition he bears the nickname “The Surgeon of Death”. Since his earliest appearances, Trafalgar Law has stood out for his great design and it doesn’t look bad in a genderbend version, as the Nanatyx cosplay does the surgeon of death justice without much effort.
The Mexican cosplayer known as Naty started posting her cosplay photos about four years ago, and during that time, we’ve seen her post dozens of cosplays of her favorite characters. During this time, Naty has cosplayed other One Piece characters such as Nico Robin, Chopper, and Bon Clay, but the most recent is Trafalgar Law in a genderbend version.
Naty’s Trafalgar Law cosplay was released in mid-October last year, in a post on her social media where the Monterrey native shared a dozen photos impersonating this One Piece pirate. Spoiler-free, Naty says he had the idea for a Law cosplay with fan art for a long time, but nowadays we could say that this version is already canon.
