Creative Assembly has announced Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs, a DLC for Total War: Warhammer 3. A spectacular trailer has been released to celebrate the occasion.

In early February, Creative Assembly’s Rich Aldridge revealed that in April, Total War: Warhammer 3 would receive the first of three expansions planned for this year. Today we saw your ad. His name is Chaos Dwarf Forge and will present, among other things, the homonymous breed (which comes as no surprise to those who have been following the leaks). An eye-catching trailer was also released to mark the occasion, available below.

The DLC will be released on April 13. Those interested can now pre-order on Steam (the DLC does not yet have a map on the Epic Games Store). Chaos Dwarf Forge should cost around $20however, currently available at a 10% discount.

As I mentioned before, the expansion will introduce a new race to the game: Chaos Dwarfs. These creatures warped by dark forces specialize in the manufacture and trade of weapons. Along with this, the game will include:

  1. three legendary lords: Astragoth the Iron Hand, Drazhoath the Ashen, and Zhatan the Black;
  2. a legendary hero: Fatty the dagger in the back;
  3. previously unavailable magic spells, such as Burning Fury, which allow you to ignite enemies. These will be accessible through the Hashut domain;
  4. twenty-six new units – including powerful siege engines;
  5. Unique racial game mechanics, such as warping the relics of the dwarves (with their help you can build the Great Drill and reach the kingdom of the Hashut gods).
