Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin Game Announced

Development by the studio behind the remakes of Destroy All Humans!

Although its existence was already anticipated at the beginning of the year, today the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin was formally presented.

In March of this year it was announced that a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game was on the way, inspired by the comic book series The Last Ronin released in 2020 with story written by Tom Waltz.

Today, as part of the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase announcements, the game’s existence was made official by the studio behind the Destroy All Humans! remakes, Black Forest Games.

The game was revealed with a small teaser that only shows that Black Forest Games is in charge of the development, while towards the end there is a conceptual image of the Last Turtle about to enter combat.

Although they didn’t go into details about its gameplay, since the first time the game was talked about a few months ago it was said that this would be an action title with several RPG elements, all under a high-budget development.

The Last Ronin is one of the darkest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stories ever presented, telling the story of only one of the Turtles alive, since the rest were killed by the Foot Clan. Under a cloak of anonymity and carrying all the Turtles’ signature weapons, the last of the Turtles sets out on a journey of vengeance to wipe out the entire Foot Clan.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox X Series X|S and PC without a release date.
