Gamescom recently reported increased corporate interest in the event, with 10% more registrations than in 2022.
In a press release (thanks, Wccftech) Oliver Frese, COO of Koelnmesse Gamescom, said:
“Sin desvelar demasiado, prometo que la comunidad puede esperar alguna que otra empresa important que no estuvo presente el año pasado. Además, ya tenemos a bordo a conocidos líderes del mercado de los nuevos segmentos de expositores anunciados para 2023, como el streaming y los board games.”
Sony and Nintendo weren’t present at Gamescom last year, so it could be that one of these gaming titans will be at the event this year. However, more than a platform maker, Frese could refer to big developers like Activision Blizzard, Take-Two and a few others who weren’t at Gamescom last year.
