We’re all big fans of backwards compatibility here at Pure Xbox, and it’s times like this that you can see how important it is to the masses of Xbox owners. Take a look at the Xbox “Top Paid” charts in the UK and US right now, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 for Xbox 360 is the most popular paid game in both regions.

It’s not just Black Ops 2 either: some other Xbox 360 games that take the top spots include the original. covert operationsthe original modern warfare securities, world at war, red dead redemption, Grand Theft Auto IV, skate 3, Max pay 3, batman lego and many more. It’s quite a range!

Here’s a look at the top five paid games as they stand at the time of writing (in the UK store):

And here is a list of the most popular Xbox 360 games (in the UK store) at the moment:

Before I mention it – yes, there is. are a reason for that. Many of these Xbox 360 games are currently discounted (or have recently been discounted) as part of Xbox sales, so people are obviously jumping at the chance to buy them.

However, the fact that so many of them climb to the top of the paid charts in multiple regions shows just how powerful backward compatibility has become for Xbox. You can’t play many backward compatible games from Xbox on any other modern console, and there’s clearly There is still a significant demand for them in 2023.
