MOB Entertainment released a new patch of improvements and fixes for Project: Playtime over the past weekend. In this update, commemorating Saint Patrick’s Day (next March 17), several adjustments have been made to the user experience, added new accessories and fixed bugs.

The name already gives us a clue about the destination of the reasons for the new content. From now on it will be possible to obtain objects to transform our character as if he were a Leprechaun (the leprechaun of luck in Irish folklore) and that mom long legs chase us through the factory also “dressed” in green patterns alluding to the pattern of Ireland.

Some game systems have also been balanced, such as the reduce by half waiting time to revive if a monster hunts us during the game. You can check out the full Project: Playtime St. Patrick’s Day patch notes after watching the trailer below.

St. Patrick’s Day Patch Notes in Project: Playtime

Gameplay changes

  • Added an indicator on the 3 sides of the pillars to show how many puzzles have been solved on that pillar.
  • The toy piece now comes out of the pillar doors.
  • The number of turns in the reflex puzzle has been increased from 10 to 16.

survivors

  • Auto cooldown reduced from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.
  • Improved first person animations when using the grappling backpack.
  • Breathing animations have been added to lockers.

Advantages and sabotages:

  • Power Walker became Roly Poly
  • Tier 1 grants 1.5 times the swing distance, Tier 2 grants 2 times the swing distance, and Tier 3 grants 2.5 times the swing distance.
  • Swing cooldown reduced from 5s -> 4.25s.
  • Rollover cooldown now starts when the rollover ends.

Adjustments to the number of ranged saviors

  • Level 1: 20% faster cooldown.
  • Level 2: Revive 30% faster
  • Level 3: 40% faster revive time

The Leave No Trace module

  • Players with no advantage will still leave trails, whether crouching, walking, or sprinting.
  • Crouching with this perk equipped for 0.25 seconds will quickly fade all steps.
  • Level 1: no footsteps while squatting
  • Level 2: no steps while walking
  • Level 3: never steps
  • It does not change the acoustic cues, only the visual cues.

Developer’s note: Leave No Trace wasn’t very useful before. This should make it viable to run, and the other settings should increase the risk associated with not running it.

Shadowwalker Digital Adjustments

  • Level 1: 50% faster crouch movement speed
  • Level 2: 75% increased movement speed while crouching
  • Level 3: 100% faster crouch movement speed

ThinkFast modification

  • The number of turns in the Reflection puzzle is now reduced.
  • Level 1: 2 laps less
  • Level 2: 4 laps less
  • Level 3: 6 laps less

Developer’s Note: The Reflexes puzzle was very quick to solve and the old Think Fast ability wasn’t very powerful. Increasing the required number of turns to 16 and modifying a perk to allow players to revert to pre-patch numbers should increase the difficulty and viability of this perk.

Satchel

  • Grab Packs can be repaired instantly, and survivors get an interface indicating who should have their Grap Pack repaired.
  • Level 1: Sabotage lasts 5 seconds
  • Level 2: Sabotage lasts 10 seconds
  • Level 3: Sabotage lasts 15 seconds

Developer’s note: Not every backpack was fun to tackle, and repairing them took too long to be worth it. We hope this change will reduce the frustration surrounding sabotage and increase the skills required to use it effectively.
