While they’re probably out of reach for most of us, if you’ve ever dreamed of owning a Shelby Cobra, today’s news is for you. Because a new version with a V8 engine and a carbon body of the AC Cobra is on the way.
From the hand of AC Cars, which recently opened its new headquarters near Donington Park in the UK, it has been announced that this car will hit the road in 2024, and that the powerful V8 engine will be able to produce 654 HP plus 575 lb-ft of torque.
Not much else is mentioned in terms of the car’s specs and capabilities, but it will be capable of 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds.
For the rest, it was added that the car will feature a bespoke interior with hand finished features and it will start selling in the UK for a heartbreaking £285,000. Next month we’ll know more details about the car, when it’s revealed in full.
