We finally have a date! Settlers: New allies is coming to Xbox on March 23, 2023. Pre-orders are now available in the Xbox Store in Standard and Deluxe formats.

Original story: One of the upcoming Ubisoft games you may not be aware of is The Settlers: New Allies, which was previously considered a PC-only release, but now we know it’s definitely coming to Xbox at some point. also given.

Ubisoft confirmed this today in a blog post, also announcing that the PC release date is February 17, 2023. All we know about the Xbox version at this point is that it’s ” in development” (specifically for Xbox One), with Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Amazon Luna.

“True to its nearly 30-year legacy, this new entry in the series combines a deep building experience with real-time strategic battles. Choose from 3 unique factions and explore this all-new world powered by cutting-edge graphics. Your colony has never seemed so alive.”

As the official description suggests, The Settlers: New Allies is the latest entry in the strategy series of the same name, which debuted in 1993 on Amiga and MS-DOS. There hasn’t been a Settlers game in over ten years, and The Settlers: New Allies acts as a reboot of the franchise.

Unfortunately, New Allies got off to a bad start last year when its planned March 2022 release was postponed due to poor response from a closed beta, with Ubisoft explaining at the time that “it became clear to our team that the quality was not but in line with the team’s vision.” A year later, we hope the game can live up to the hype with its PC release and eventually make a successful transition to Xbox.
