from ubisoft Settlers: new allies It was originally slated to release on Xbox this week on Thursday, March 23, but the company has now pushed back the console release, with no new date yet.

As revealed on social media, the reason for the delay is “to ensure the best possible experience for players”, suggesting the game needs a bit more finishing before it’s ready for a console release.

Unfortunately, The Settlers: New Allies didn’t debut to great reviews when it hit PC in February, racking up a rather disappointing Metacritic score of 59, despite nearly all reviews having some positive things to say.

Hopefully the extra time will allow the Xbox version to achieve a higher score when it finally arrives, which we’re guessing it won’t. Also Away: We will let you know when Ubisoft announces a new date.
