We have always assumed that the Resident Evil 4 Remake it would be a huge hit when it finally arrives, and that’s exactly what has happened since its release last week, with the game officially selling over three million copies in just two days.
Capcom revealed the news in a press release this morning, describing it as a “solid start” and also drawing attention to the many fantastic reviews the game has received – we gave it a 10/10 here on Pure Xbox !
“In addition to earning high scores on online review sites, the title garnered praise and attention upon the release of the chainsaw demoin which players were able to enjoy the opening of the game, resulting in worldwide sales of the title exceeding 3 million units within the first two days after the game’s release.”
The immense success of the Resident Evil 4 remake surely means that Capcom will be considering even more remakes for the series in the future, although it’s not so obvious where to go next. We would love to hear your opinion on this!
