Those of us who were lucky enough to see the entire first season of The Last of Us already knew that two episodes were going to get a lot of attention from a certain audience. The controversy arose shortly after Episode 3 was released in January, and now it’s the turn of the highly anticipated second reaction.
The seventh episode of The Last of Us, aptly named Left over (if you’ve played the game, you know what it’s about) it was available Sunday night in the US, and seeing another gay romance again got a ton of negative user reviews on Metacritic. While a relatively small number of them are quite fair and share some of my complaints, a significant portion of them certainly like to use the word “awakened” a lot… Is that a good sign that these are the still see?
