The Last of Us HBO series was inspirational in some unlikely places, as a player took the opportunity to recreate Bill’s hometown of Lincoln in the sims 4. Not only have important city buildings been included in the recreation, but the interior of Bill’s home has also been lovingly reproduced. The Sims 4 builder, Isambardy, decided to create as much town as possible instead of sticking to his original idea of just building Bill’s house. The construction starts with the exterior of the buildings, but then shows the interior of Bill’s house. The video features family rooms including bedrooms, the piano room, kitchen, and even the hidden watch room in the basement.
To create a rural atmosphere in the town, it was built on a 64×64 plot in Henford-on-Bagley, found in the Sims 4 Cottage Living DLC pack. As such, the city was quite restricted in space, and many of the buildings are on a smaller scale than they would be on the show. There are the neighboring houses of Bill, the church, a parking lot and the fortifications of the whole complex. The only thing missing is the ditch, but since it was located outside the fence in the show, Isambady decided to leave it outside of the construction. Players can download the whole town, or just Bill’s house, by searching the gallery ID “Isambady” and The Sims 4 is now free on PS5 and PS4.
