Resident Evil 4 remake offers more than a handful of weapon and item options, but only a few could be considered the best. While most of the weapons from the original game make an appearance, there are a few new additions that fulfill more interesting utility roles. Moreover, there is one element in particular that can make the game much easier if the player decides to invest in it.

Editor’s note: Please note that the weapons and items in the “best of” list below may contain spoilers from the final hours of Resident Evil 4 Redo.

combat knife

The combat knife is a valuable weapon. It will allow you to parry attacks and finish off enemies. From Resident Evil 4 The new version becomes much easier once you master the parry mechanic, upgrading your combat knife is a must. Especially when it comes to close combat.

Once you’re fully leveled, you’ll be able to take out most normal enemies with just a few slashes in Standard. This also goes for the Combat Knife, which is an upgraded version of the Combat Knife and is obtained later in the game. Both knives have durability. But keeping both in your inventory will pay off.

Removable bolt and mine thrower

With ammo you can grab from enemies you kill or from any missed shots, the Bolt Thrower is a great item for anyone looking to save ammo. But what really sets the Bolt Thrower apart are the pluggable mines you can craft.

This recipe can be purchased from the trader and immediately pays off the investment. By transforming the bolt thrower into the mine thrower from the original game, you can hit enemies with the detachable mines for massive damage. This includes all enemies around the target you hit. You can also fire bolts with the removable mines into the ground or walls to use as proximity bombs to help enemies locate each other. Note, however, that bolts used with plug-in mines cannot be salvaged.

Armor

This is possibly one of the best items in the game. Although it has durability, just like knives, it will allow you to take effective or greatly reduced damage until the armor breaks. This is especially useful for specific boss fights or when fighting hordes of enemies. It is suggested that where possible, you make sure you have enough money to repair your body armor.

Mantraya

This is the better of the two sniper rifle options. This is mainly because this semi-automatic sniper rifle will allow you to shoot quickly with little recoil. This is especially useful during specific boss fights, especially when there is a long distance between you and your target. Also, this weapon is excellent for taking out Regenerators and Iron Maidens. Sniper rifles are definitely not a necessity in the Resident Evil 4 Remake, but it’s nice to have one.

Here are some of the weapons and items that can make your run run Resident Evil 4 redo much easier. That being said, when exchanging Merchant Spinels for weapon and accessory upgrades, please read the description carefully. Only certain attachments will work with specific weapons.

Another good investment, but will require players to complete all of the vendor’s side quests, is the Exclusive Upgrade Ticket if you’re looking to fully max out a weapon of your choice that’s completely free, including the exclusive upgrade that gets it. ‘accompanied.
