So far, the most consistent way to farm Exp is to shred higher level mobs that your party can reliably kill, using a combination of character passive abilities to boost your base Exp gain. . Points (JP) you receive at night. For daily farming, there is the Scholar “Bonus Experience” which increases the Exp gained after a battle. You can also equip the Exp Augmentor accessory for a final boost to the amount of Exp you earn, because every bit counts. It’s important to make sure the characters you want to level up stay alive, as defeated characters don’t gain Exp.
For players who want to try their hand at rare mobs, hunting Caits will grant you 1000 Exp without any boosts, although you should most likely use Cait Powder to increase your chances of finding one first, as they are considered rare spawns. It is recommended to use Soulstones to defeat them if you are just starting out as they will run away if you don’t kill them fast enough. Soul Stones deal large amounts of magic damage, allowing you to quickly take down the Cait and reap the rewards. There are also Chubby Caits, which are even rarer than Caits. If defeated, they will give you a whopping 2000 Exp. If you encounter Octopuff Travelers, defeat them for 500 Exp as well.
