Best Locations to Farm Upgrade Materials in Lost Ark
You can use one of six trade skills on each continent Lost Ark has to explore, and a good habit is to check the level of materials you need. If it is a higher level item, you need to use these trade skills in a high level area. Before you worry about endgame locations, you need the basics first, and these locations below are a great starting point for farming lots of materials.

Lakebar is one of the main places for hunting, felling of trees and extraction of precious minerals. It is located near Luterra, the central hub of your Lost Ark adventure and where you will spend most of your time. Frequent laps around this location will net you a ton of materials.

Bilbrin Forest

This forest is directly north of Lakebar and is the best place in the game to farm wood. You will need wood for almost every project in the game. Stronghold buildings, missions, crafting, and upgrading your ship all require this valuable resource. Even in late-game scenarios, you can make this forest a must-visit whenever you want to stock up on wood.
Fesnar Highlands

The above areas will give you full access to gear for the early and mid-game content that Lost Ark has in store, but you’ll need a higher level of gear once you start the content of game over. Once you reach Vern Castle, which is the endgame hub, you will be able to access Fesnar Highland. This slot contains materials accessible by all six trade skills. Walk around and take turns to collect a wealth of quality materials that will immerse you in the most challenging content in Lost Ark.
