Aston Martin has made some truly iconic cars throughout its history. From James Bond’s DB5 to the more modern Vantage range, to the Formula 1 road car known as the Valkyrie, the British sports car marque has brought us some remarkable offerings. But, Aston Martin isn’t at the forefront of the electric vehicle space, and it lags behind the other automotive titans in that space.
Luckily, the EV experts at Lunaz can lend AM a hand in this area and have started this process by converting the beautiful DB6 entirely into an all-electric car. According to the company’s website, we are told that the process of converting the car into an electric vehicle includes a “An extensive bare metal restoration and re-engineering process to ensure the car represents a perfect example of an electrified classic.”
To add to this, the car will be meticulously weighed and rebuilt to ensure that its balance and proportions are accurate throughout, and the car will even receive a completely redone interior. Lunaz is even committed to making the entire EV process limited in terms of waste and environmental impact.
“The Aston Martin DB6 delivered on the promise of a truly indulgent continental tour. It’s a legacy we couldn’t resist as we continued to create the world’s finest electric car.” said Jen Holloway, design director of Lunaz.

It wasn’t mentioned when we’ll first see an EV version of the DB6 on the roads, but Lunaz noted that the majority of people interested in an EV version of the car are from Miami in the US, with around 30% of orders come from this area.
