Twitter users share what indie games they think are ten out of ten, and I have to say I agree with a lot of them.
The trend started with Twitter user (also Game Spot editor) @markdelaneysays, who asked fellow community members to share which indie games they think are 10/10 games. For Delaney, the games they chose are narrative adventure game Before Your Eyes, atmospheric puzzle game RiMe, psychological horror Soma, and musical action game Sayonara Wild Hearts.

It looks like Delaney isn’t the only one with a soft spot for indies, unlike other Twitter users. quote retweeted the tweet (opens in a new tab) by sharing his personal 10/10 indie games, many of which also include some of the games mentioned above. Aside from Delaney’s picks, we’re seeing a lot of love for The Outer Wilds, Celeste, Stardew Valley, and Hollow Knight. Some trending personal favorites include What Remains of Edith Finch, Gone Home, Night in the Woods, Oxenfree and many more.
Speaking of indies, there are still a few hours left for Steam Next Fest, which gives gamers the chance to play demos of a variety of upcoming titles, including two that we’ve tried and tested ourselves. If you’re looking for a gorgeous Metroidvania, GamesRadar+ editor Austin Wood can’t recommend Afterimage highly enough. As for me, I played the My Dream Setup demo and now I can’t wait to play the full version when it launches next month.
