The increased demands are not surprising. Baldur’s Gate III debuted in Early Access in September 2020, and since then the game has improved a lot in many ways, including the visuals.

The updated requirements have been released with the upcoming full version of the game in mind. The day before yesterday, the developers announced that 1.0 edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released on August 31 this year. A pleasant surprise was the announcement that the game will also be coming to PlayStation 5 on the same day.

Asked about the release on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles, the developers admitted that it had been in the works for some time, but that significant technical issues had been encountered during development, especially in split screen. If the developers manage to solve them quickly, the The XSX/S version could also debut on August 31, but as of now the developers don’t know if that will happen.
