Last weekend we celebrated in style the first anniversary of the release of Elden Ring, the masterpiece of From software which brought together in a single title everything the Japanese studio has learned and implemented over the past ten years with its games from the Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro series. Elden Ring put us in the role of Sinlouz nameless who aspires to become the new Lord of the Circle Elden in a vast open world known as Middle-earth.

The title has quickly become one of the most beloved games by critics and fans alike, and we recently learned that its total sales already exceed 20 million units sold. Although in the past we have given credit to the leak inside bandai namco in which they referred to a possible DLC as Badlan BarbariansBandai Namco’s European accounts in Europe deleted this morning and by surprise the real name of Elden Ring’s big expansion, which is titled Shadow of the Eldtree.

At the moment we have no details about the plot of this DLC, except that it has to do in some way with the golden tree, a very important place in the game where some of its most relevant moments (and fights) take place. This extension is under development and (probably) we will have it this year.
