As of last night, rumors have been circulating that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League may still be pushed back by Rocksteady. But while the first information evoked a release retained for 2023, it could finally be that the game slips towards 2024.
If you’ve been following the news for a few hours, you probably know that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League could finally arrive a little later than expected. In a report published in Bloomberg, Jason Schreier told us that Rocksteady could soon announce another postponement of its title to have more time to polish your work and improve the player experience. But while the latter indicated that the release would stick to 2023, another story is being heard today.
A release postponed to 2024 for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League?
In the latest issue of his show Game Mess Decides, journalist Jeff Grubb also returned to this potential report of the game mentioned since yesterday. Unlike his colleague, however, he asserts that His own sources tell him that it would no longer be a first in 2023, but in 2024. He then explains that it comes to him from one of his most reliable sources. This therefore also contradicts the information shared by journalist Jez Corden, who mentions an exit window set for the last quarter of 2023.
In short, as much to say that we are not more advanced at the moment. All we know is that multiple sources agree that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League won’t release in May as planned. This announcement follows the bad feedback the game received after its State of Play presentation, which had the effect of a real cold shower for the public.. It must be said that by opting for the formula of a service game, Rocksteady could well condemn this new title to suffer the same fate as before Marvel’s Avengers.

In his report, Schreier also states that even if these were confirmed, do not expect to see the game modified in depth.
