Reports came out yesterday that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was pushed back to polish the game, but now it seems that wasn’t the whole story, as an industry insider said he heard the game could be pushed back to 2024.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Delay Could Move It To Next Year

Jeff Grubb claimed on his podcast that he heard from one of his most trusted sources that the game could be pushed back to 2024, following fan backlash to the large-scale gameplay revealed last month.

On his Game Mess Decides podcast, Grubb states the following:

“I don’t want to cause panic or anything, but I heard it’s not even planned for this year. I’m listening to 2024. Earlier tonight I heard it was a long delay.”

If true, it would be nine years since Rocksteady’s last large-scale release, with that release being 2015’s Batman Arkham Knight. It would also be four years since the game was announced, with Rocksteady announcing the title in August 2020.

In other gaming news, The Last of Us on PC requires an extremely expensive graphics card to play in 4K at 60 FPS, and Call of Duty could be on PS Plus on day one, according to Microsoft.
