Steel Empire Chronicles will have a physical release on Switch

strictly limited games, in association with Mebius and Starfish, today announced a physical release of Steel Empire Chronicles on Switch. This pack includes Steel Empire and Over Horizon.
The limited edition, priced at $39.99, will allow fans to choose between two cover variations, including the Steel Empire Chronicles title sheet or the classic Over Horizon title sheet. Only 3,000 individually numbered copies will be made on Switch.
The Special Limited Edition is also planned, priced at $59.99. It comes with a unique collector’s edition box in the form of a Mega Drive box with various collectibles. One of the key elements is the soundtrack. Please note that only 2,000 individually numbered copies will be made on Switch.

The story itself is shown through what is most easily described as old sepia cinematic newsreel. The narrative is full of made-up historical references that will help set the mood. Of course, as you’d expect from Strictly Limited Games, we’ll be adding to that through the introduction of physical releases.

Pre-orders for physical versions of Steel Empire Chronicles for Switch begin April 9, 2023 at 8am PDT / 11am EDT / 5pm CEST. Copies should be released this spring.
