As the release of the Respawn and EA title is fast approaching, discussions are already underway regarding the arrival of a new opus.

Scheduled for next April, Star Wars Jedi Survivor logically remains one of the most anticipated titles this year.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor: is a sequel already in discussion?

Given the success of the first episode and the many new features that the second seems to want to bring, it would not be surprising to see the latter suffer the same fate. It would therefore be quite logical to see a third title pointing the nose in the years to come to conclude the trilogy.

In a recent interview with IGN, Software Director Stig Asmussen admits that there’s been a lot of talk about the length of the story starring Cal Kestis. According to him, the teams were “already talking about the second game before the release of the first” and aim even further :

I always wanted to see it as a trilogy. How can we take Cal and the team to new places beyond what we did in the first game?

Moreover, if a third work were to see the light of day, Asmussen says he should thrive with Unreal Engine 5, unlike Episode Survivor, which was based on the fourth version of the Epic Games engine. Having said that, the developers produced “a lot of proprietary stuff” complement existing technologies.

As a reminder, Star Wars Jedi Survivor will be It will launch on April 28 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This adventure will offer various novelties such as the possibility of driving a double lightsaber, new mounts to move faster and new enemies.
