With Star Wars: Ahoska, Disney is currently working on a new series around Ahoska Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s former student. Does the series logo give us a clue about the story?

Attention! Spoilers could follow here!

Ahsoka Tano appeared in the cartoon series Star Wars: Rebels. Ezra Bridger used “time portals” of the world between worlds to save Ahsoka Tano from death in her fight against Darth Vader. With these portals, Star Wars introduced a kind of time travel, which has not existed before. The time portals have very idiosyncratic and interesting shapes and patterns. The “o” in the logo for the Star Wars: Ahsoka series is reminiscent of these portals. So could the new series be about time travel?

Rumors so far suggest that Ahsoka could become a sequel to Rebels. Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren go in search of Ezra Bridger, who disappeared with Grand Admiral Thrawn at the end of the cartoon series. Does the world between the worlds play an important role here? We saw another indication that this could be so in the fifth episode of the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. Because the owl Morai appeared briefly. She was also seen in the world between worlds and helped Ezra there.

A Star Wars series that deals with time travel would be quite unusual, but it could be exactly what it needs to be different from the other planned series. Time travel is always a tricky topic, especially in Star Wars, as the concept (apart from the world between the worlds) has been completely left out of the picture.
